Cartel Tunnel "underneath" a South Texas Judges Mansion

Texas Border Safety

Rodney S. Scott is the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. As the agency’s senior official, he is responsible for more than 67,000 employees, a budget of more than $19 billion and overseeing the daily operations of CBP’s expansive mission, including matters relating to trade, travel, and national security.

Victor Avila: Border Security Advocate

Victor Avila is a former ICE and Homeland Security Investigations Supervisory Special Agent who survived a cartel ambush that killed his partner in the line of duty. After decades fighting transnational crime, drug trafficking, and human smuggling, he stepped into the public arena to speak out on border security, public safety, and national sovereignty.

As a Republican candidate for Congress and Texas Land Commissioner, Victor’s platform centers on securing the border, enforcing immigration law, dismantling cartel influence, protecting American communities, supporting veterans, and empowering parents and local control. His message is shaped by firsthand experience—not politics as usual, but lived reality from the front lines.

This is a voice forged by service, sacrifice, and a conviction that public safety and the rule of law matter.

Sara Carter: Leading Drug Policy Expert

Sara Carter is an American investigative journalist and former Fox News contributor who was confirmed in January 2026 as the Director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy — often called the nation’s “Drug Czar.” In this role, she leads federal efforts to shape drug policy, coordinate anti-drug initiatives, and address issues such as illicit drug trafficking and addiction. Carter built her career reporting on national security, border issues, and cartel activity before entering government service.

Lorrie R: Fentanyl Crisis Advocate

Lorrie Randazzo is known locally in El Paso, TX in connection with advocacy relating to the fentanyl crisis, where she spoke about her personal experience of losing her son to a fentanyl overdose. She was mentioned during a discussion about efforts to combat fentanyl trafficking and overdose deaths along the U.S.–Mexico border.
